The Church of New Revival is a new church based in Savannah, Tennessee.. We are like a modern version of old time country churches. Currently, we are an online ministry that occasionally has in-person services when weather is decent and a location is available.
Our church contains elements of house churches and cowboy churches as well. In a world that often feels divided, our church stands as a beacon of unity and acceptance, where every individual is welcomed with open arms and hearts. Here, we believe that each person's unique journey contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our community, fostering relationships that uplift and inspire. We come from all backgrounds, skills, abilities and perceptions united in one voice and one mission. That mission is to be a beacon to those who have lost their faith, gotten hurt by the church because of “beliefs” or wanting to reignite the fire within them to bring forth real change in their lives and others.
Together, we are on a mission to revive the church, blending cherished traditions with innovative approaches that resonate with the evolving needs of our congregation. By embracing our shared purpose, we can ignite a powerful movement of love and support that transforms lives and strengthens bonds. Join us in this meaningful journey, where your presence is not just valued but essential, as we seek to build a community grounded in faith, hope, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Together, let us grow, thrive, and create a legacy of unity that echoes through generations. This is the new revival of the church and we want you to join us.
Every church has their way of doing things are regardless of if you have been to church before or not we understand it can be awkward, strange and for some just scary. The biggest reason many have stopped attending churches or are afraid of attending is because they don’t know what to expect, what others will think of them, and other judgements.
Here are some things to know if you are visiting us for the first time online or in-person. Our church is made up of all kinds of people with a mixture of traditional and modern elements.
So, what’s it like to be part of our church? It’s like hanging out with friends and family worshiping together. Whether it is an online service or an in-person one, we are looking forward to having a great time together.

While we understand everyone has their own views of the Bible and topics therein, we are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Our goal isn’t to change you or force it on you. What you do in your lives is between you and God. We are all sinners and do it every day. This is why we believe in a judgment free environment. In the end, what you have done, doing now or will do will be judged by the only one that matters. We all may walk different paths but we all strive for the same destination.
We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another. Other than that, love is personal so love who or what you want as long as you love God first.
We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture and that draws us closer to Him.
We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.
We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word. The world is a dark place and people are losing faith, seeking it or wanting to revive it. It is up to us to be the light of the world and change it, one person at a time. Just by being the light you may save someone’s life.
We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.
We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community. In this digital age in which technology can be used for evil it can also be used for good.
In a time when division and discrimination have infiltrated our faith. Jesus taught us to love our neighbors unconditionally, embracing all individuals regardless of their backgrounds. By creating an environment where everyone feels valued, we reflect Christ’s love and grace. In this spirit, we become a powerful force for healing, demonstrating that the message of salvation is for everyone. Let us stand together, breaking down barriers, and embodying the acceptance our faith demands. We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as a church family united in our purpose of sharing God’s love.
We strive to be a holy people, living in obedience to God’s Word and in surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Our mission is to create a purposeful, united, and accepting community where everyone is valued as family. We aim to build lasting relationships that reflect Christ's love while spreading the gospel. Through outreach and connection, we seek to renew faith, empower individuals to fulfill their God-given purpose, and shine as a beacon of hope and transformation in our community and beyond.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe in the Trinity, which is the doctrine that God is one, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are distinct and unified, co-existing in perfect harmony and working together to create and sustain the world. We recognize that since God is the Creator and the source of all life, He exists in three persons who are distinct yet united, understanding each other completely and working together to bring about His plans for humanity. We believe that the Trinity is an essential part of understanding God and His purpose for us. By embracing the Trinity, we can have a deeper relationship with the Lord and better understand His will for our lives.
We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible, that it is the true and inspired word of God. It may have been written physically by man, but it is the word of God himself. We also accept the Bible as a historical text as well and eventhough it is written through inspiration from God for all generations in the past, present and future, we can’t forget the historical context in it. We also accept there may be other books and gospels left out of the Bible as we know it but we put faith in what we do have and know. We believe that the Bible is our standard for life, and its truth, integrity, and relevance is of utmost importance. The Bible is not just a book, but a living guide, full of God’s wisdom and guidance. Through scripture, we learn about God’s character, how to live and act, and how to grow in our spiritual journey. We believe that by reading and studying the Bible, we are able to draw closer to God and deepen our understanding of His love. We study and teach from the old and new testaments.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the central figure of Christianity, the Word of God made flesh. Jesus was sent by God to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins so that we could enjoy an eternal life with Him. Jesus’ teachings on love, forgiveness, humility, and repentance are at the core of our beliefs. We also believe in Jesus’ resurrection, that it was proof of His deity and the promise of eternal life for all those who believe. We are called to follow Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to share the good news of the gospel. As we learn to love and serve others, we are reminded of Jesus’ example of love and sacrifice.
We accept and embrace the accompaniment of music to our worship and praise services. It doesn’t matter if you have music or not.
We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was sent by God to save us and give us eternal life. Salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus and repentance of our sins. We understand that we are saved through grace and not by any work of our own. The Bible teaches us that no matter what mistakes we make God’s love and grace are always available to us. We believe that through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can have the assurance of salvation and the promise of eternal life with God. We believe that salvation is for anyone regardless of race, sexual orientation, ackground….etc..
We believe in the importance of baptism. Baptism symbolizes a believer's commitment to Jesus and His teachings, and is an outward act of confessing our faith in Him. We believe that baptism is essential to Christian discipleship, and it is a beautiful way to proclaim our allegiance to Jesus. Baptism is a sacred and meaningful experience, and we are deeply committed to helping believers celebrate this important milestone in their journey of faith. By celebrating and honoring baptism, we are proclaiming our faith in Jesus and our desire to serve Him and others.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the unifying power between God and humanity, and is the source of our comfort, guidance, and strength. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand and appreciate the Bible, and helps us to live out its teachings in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit is with us always, faithfully guiding us in our walk with God. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives us gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing, miracles, tongues, and prophecy so that we can be used to serve God and spread His love.
We believe in the Christian doctrinal belief of The Church. We believe that the Church is a holy assembly of believers, united in faith and love. We strive to be a community of believers who are united in our faith in Jesus Christ and in our commitment to serve Him and His kingdom. We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another. We believe that the Church is a body of believers who are called to serve and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus and to follow His teachings. We strive to live out our faith through loving actions and service to our community and the world. The church is the people, not a meeting place.
We believe in the power of prayer, both individually and corporately, as an expression of faith in God's work in our lives. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian life and is used to talk to God and to communicate with Him. We pray for guidance, strength, healing, protection, and for our families, friends, and community. Through prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of God's will and His plans for our lives. Praying helps us grow closer to God and to gain a better understanding of His will and how we can best serve Him. When we pray, we open ourselves up to God and He will answer us in His own way and in His own time. Prayer is a beautiful and powerful way to communicate with our Heavenly Father and to seek His love and guidance.
Communion is a staple in the Christian faith and amongst many churches. Many have different beliefs of when to partake however we do not believe your salvation is on the line if you do not partake of it when everyone else thinks you should. This is a personal preference. We aren’t currently having in person services yet so we have not decided on our partaking time at this time.
Honestly, this shouldn’t be a debate. Christ loves everyone and we believe everyone should be accepted in His church. We are NOT to pass judgment on things like this, Who you love or have intercourse is personal and should be kept private. We are not that kind of Church that will push you away. If you are looking for a church that says otherwise then that is fine as there are plenty of those.
We believe in the gifts that God has anointed some people with. We believe in the power of God and all things are possible through him, this includes the special abilities that he has given some. Scripture is full of miracles, prophecies, visions, and healing so why should we dismiss these abilities if they are real, true and can be used for God.
Since the mankind has existed there has been many faiths, religions, and belief systems. For us we are proud Christians and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and believe he is the only way to God and Salvation. We also believe that other belief systems can be used alongside your journey with Christ as long as it doesn’t offset negate, dismiss or overshadow any the teachings, commandments and message of Christ. For example, you will see that we believe in the power of things that may fall in the realm of metaphysical or new age things such as crystals, faith healing, light work, meditation and other things. We also incorporate some of the practices and philosophies of Zen in our teachings in order to help us relax, meditation, focus and help us get closer to God and grow spiritually.
This shouldn’t even be a debate. Women have as many rights in the church as men including ministry and being a pastor.
